Committee goals

• Educate landowners as to how aquatic buffers help sustain the integrity of stream ecosystems and habitats
• Increase buffers along waterbodies under the Drain Commissioner's jurisdiction to reduce sedimentation and pollution by offering 25% reduction in drain assessments for at least a 20-25 foot buffer.
