Protecting River Watersheds - the Basics

Having said that, understanding and protecting river watersheds is a crucial task for all of us. Two Rivers Coalition (TRC) aims to establish legally binding terms and agreements that govern the activities and responsibilities of citizens, organizations, and authorities in the conservation, education, and advocacy efforts for the health of the Black River and Paw Paw River watersheds.

What to Include in River Watershed Protection Efforts

Generally speaking, our efforts often address these types of issues: who is involved in the conservation and advocacy activities; the potential methods of addressing environmental challenges; a declaration of our commitment to the ongoing protection of the river watersheds; the types of partnerships and collaborations we engage in; a reference to the importance of community involvement and support; our right to review and adjust our conservation strategies; and much, much more. To learn more about this, explore our resources and get involved in protecting our river watersheds.
